Program/Project Management
We have considerable experience managing projects of different types, within different organisations (often concurrently) using a variety of methodologies (waterfall and Agile). The methodology used will typically vary depending on the standards/culture of the organization, as well as what is appropriate for the specific project. Projects managed have included:
Business Transformation
Packaged application and Software as a Service (SaaS)
Software development
Infrastructure changes
Multinational organisations where local and foreign stake-holders have differing objectives all which need to be met.
Small to medium businesses where the complexities tend to be different to larger organisations, with issues such as smaller budgets, and reduced ability to make key staff available for extended periods.
Multi vendor, multi stakeholder situations where conflicting drivers need to be managed.
Integration between a variety of different systems.
A variety of project management methodologies.
IT Strategy
Many businesses operate without a clear vision of how they will utilize Information Technology to help their business grow profitably. This is particularly true for smaller businesses, often because they do no possess the in-house skills to develop a strategy, and believe that they would be unable to afford the cost of contracting a person with appropriate skills to develop a strategy for them.
We can work with you to develop an IT strategy appropriate for your business, both in terms of cost and time to develop, as well as cost and time to implement.
Virtual CIO
Many smaller businesses find it difficult to justify a full time Chief Information Officer (CIO). As a result the CIO role is often split between the CFO or CEO and the most senior IT person within the business.
We can work with your in-house staff on a part time basis to provide experience that is often unavailable to small to medium businesses. Huge benefits can be gained, at a modest cost by utilizing small amounts of a senior consulting resource, both in terms of developing/mentoring internal staff, and giving management the surety that decisions are being reviewed by a senior consultant.
